Happy Saturday everyone

Here is my hobby update, I have been up to a lot of painting in the past few weeks!

I had good fun playing a one-shot Daggerheart session ran by my girlfriend a couple weeks ago, in prep for it I painted up this Oathmark Dwarf model to be my character. I believe the process was starting with Army Painter Speedpaints and Citadel Contrast and then added some highlights with opaque paints.

I picked up these cool Dungeons and Dragons miniatures in Forbidden planet while in Brighton. Really pleased with how my Giant Space Hamster is turning out. The Myconid’s I am currently concocting a paintjob. I began with Vallejo Xpress Colour Templar White, then put over a wash of Citadel Casandora Yellow to tint the surface. I am planning to try and blend up the layers towards the top of the model to become more orange, sort of like a Chanterelle mushroom.

I picked up these metal Robin Hood miniatures from Foundry Miniatures a while ago and have been painting them up recently, along with them is a Victrix Late Saxon model I have been keeping around, I am thinking he could be a Will Scarlet type for my Robin Hood themed warband. I have been reading the book Outlaw by Angus Donald and it has been fueling my Robin Hood obsession.

And finally, I decided it was time to say farewell to my Kingdoms of Men project for Kings of War. It was fun trying out new building techniques and checking out the kits I was using. After much consideration I realized it was a project that was not bringing me any joy, so apart from a couple of single models that I really like and can repurpose for other things, I have listed it all on Ebay as a job lot of bits and some kitbashed miniatures, hopefully I can get a nice little bit of money for it and then use that to fund projects I have more passion for.

Thank you for reading ๐Ÿ˜Š

Looking like I can make this a semi regular thing. It’s nice to share my hobby progress with those who may stumble upon this.
