Happy WIP Wednesday everybody.
I have been busy over the past few weeks with my hobby work.

I have based up this cool proxy Zombie Dragon, designed by Artisan Guild, for my Soulblight Gravelords army. It was messy, with smudges of glue and milliput everywhere, but I got stuck in. Really pleased with how it’s turning out.

Also for my Soulblight Gravelords army, I started work on this Blood knight. I am working on a formula for getting my vampires painted up quickly but to a standard I am happy with. This was primed Army Painter dragon red, dry brushed white, then blocked in using Citadel’s Black Templar and Blood Angels Red from their contrast range, and Army Painters Hoplite Gold and Enchanted Steel from their Speed Paint Metallic Range.
From here I plan to use opaque paints to pick out the details. I’m hoping to come up with something cool but I don’t need to put much effort into it and can let speed paints do most of the work, Much like…

These gretchin I started painting up for a Space Weirdos warband. I started from a white primer and used Army Painter’s Leather Brown, Enchanted Steel and Orc Skin speed paints to base coat, alongside Citadel’s Bad Moon Yellow contrast for the yellows.
After this is used opaque paints to add some more colour: Vallejo Model Colour German Grey alongside Army Painter’s Diabolic Plum and Dusty Skull to pick out the belts, straps, cloth, and teeth/nails. I also used a copper/bronze colour from citadel on some of the Metallica for details, I can’t remember which one unfortunately.

Speaking of gobbos, I have been slowly getting through this unit of Night goblins that I use as Gnoblars in Age of Sigmar for my Ogor Mawtribes army. With the exception of the bases and a banner, 5 are fully painted and the others washed. Hoping to get this unit finished by June.

In late January, i went terrain crazy!!!
I began working on some poor hammer terrain, both Sci-Fi and Fantasy terrain. I also built up these nice MDF Oasis town and Oasis Bazaar kits from TTcombat.
All this desert themed terrain is for…

A campaign for Kings of war I am adapting from the Sands of Ahmun starter set from 3rd edition.
I have been writing extensions to the lore drops, designing battle plans and even started making a 4′ x 4′ battle mat. It’s a long project, but it will be fun to have a mini campaign with different paths that I can use to introduce people to the game.
Thank you for reading ๐
That’s pretty much the jist of it for now. I’ll see if I can muster the energy and remember to write a follow up blog post in a month and a bit documenting more hobby progress. Stay tuned!
