2nd February 2021: “Carbon”, New Cover Song.

New release from Nebulae Music

Joseph Bagwell has re-released an old “lost” album from 2014 titled “Carbon”. The album sees it’s re-release through the Nebulae Music catalog. It was recorded between April and June 2014 and released circa July 2014, later on in the year Joseph had felt he disliked the work and removed it from stores. After a recent re listen he realized he had been too harsh on the work and felt it was a decent set of music, hence the re-release. You can purchase “Carbon” by Nebulae Music (cat. MM008) from bandcamp here.

New cover by Joseph Bagwell – “Nutshell” by Alice In Chains

Joseph Bagwell has also released a new solo acoustic cover on YouTube, as seen below.

You can also download the mixed audio as WAV or MP3 from the Free Downloads page.

Many, Many, Many…

A big update for me right now, as i prepare for some big releases coming out next year!

First thing to not is some tidying up of the blog. I have made a new Music section which acts as a discography with all my albums and EPs listed on there, check it out!

I have retired the Nebulae Music Bandcamp and added all the releases on there to my main bandcamp to make browsing my catalog easier for you guys 🙂

BANDCAMP

You may also notice a new Nebulae Music release on there. This is just a small compilation EP of a few odds and sods from the catalog. The entire discography is available at 50% the price. “Nebulae Music” will be available in the next few weeks from online distributors and streaming services…

I am starting to upload solo acoustic renditions of originals and covers to my youtube channel now as well, the most recent being a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”, check out the playlist below:

I aim to upload a new video each week so make sure you subscribe to stay updated 🙂

I have joined a few new platforms including ReverbNation, NoiseTrade and Twitter. Check out the Contact/Links section of the website for the updated list…

Finally, i am working with mix/master engineer Jeffro Lacksheide on a compilation EP which will include 6 songs (two new) from my rock catalog, also in conjunction with this i will be releasing a sister EP of a similar nature, showcasing 6 electronic tracks with a new mix to them. The EP’s are set to release early next year as two separate releases and also a double EP so stay tuned for that !!!

Andy and the Echoes @ Bar 42

i’ve just run out of things to say really. Before summer the gigs were part of my college assignment and so i needed to evaluate them but don’t need to so here are the photos.

New Tropics @ Bar 42

Starting off the first of many “Hot Air Music Presents…” gigs we had New Tropics supported by Funkzilla, Etcetera and our Luke Amor. Night went well, had a nice crowd although a lot of people seemed to leave after Funkzilla leaving New Tropics with a smaller audience then they should have for a band of their calibre. Check out all the artists on Facebook!!!

Rock for Research [Part 1]: Cascades @ Bar 42

Tuesday may not be the best night for a gig at Bar 42. Tonight was quite dead for the most part though we did make a nice £35 on the door in support of cancer research. I feel that the main problem with this one was the promotional aspect of the gig.

One major item i forgot to do at the beginning was contact Cancer Research and notify them to the fact that i was hosting two fundraising gigs for their charity. This is something that should have been done straight from the start when i decided on the charity to raise money for as they may have seen this and thought “hey, this guy is hosting a couple of gigs to raise money for our charity, may be in our interest to give some sort of coverage to boost the event”. Another floor was the fact that it was on Tuesday night which after talking to Mark Knowles, owner of Bar 42, i discovered that actually they don’t usually host gigs on a Tuesday and that is something i really should have looked into was the best dates where he usually gets the most customers.
Another thing to address was my set… actually let’s not talk about that

Rock for Research!!!

I am pleased to announce two charity gigs coming up in June on 7th and 14th at Bar 42. Both gigs will be in support of Cancer Research. The first evening will feature music from myself and our own Luke Amor along with some other soft rock and folk/acoustic acts. The second will feature music from our Red Shores along with other metal type bands. More info coming soon!!!
